PlanEditor: privacy policy
PlanEditor does not collect, send or sell personal data. Your plans and photos stay on your device.
In short
No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking tools and no third-party services inside the app. We receive none of your data.
Plans and settings
What you draw is processed on the device. While you work, the app keeps an automatic copy of the plan in its private storage and remembers your settings (language, units, title block details you type). This information does not leave the device. If you use Apple backups (iCloud or computer), app data may be part of them, depending on your Apple settings. Deleting the app deletes this data too.
Camera and photos
The app asks for camera access only when you use the feature to photograph a drawing, and reads a photo from your library only when you pick one. The image is processed on the device to produce lines or a tracing background and is not sent anywhere. You can withdraw the permission in iOS Settings at any time.
Internet connection
The app makes a single request: it asks the public App Store catalogue (itunes.apple.com) for the latest PlanEditor version number, to tell you when a new one exists. The request contains only the app’s App Store number; it includes no identifier of you or your device, uses no cookies and keeps no cache. As with any internet connection, Apple’s server sees the IP address, under Apple’s privacy policy. The app makes no other connection: the editor, fonts and evacuation-plan data are inside the app.
Files you export
JPG, PDF and HTML files are created on the device and go only where you share them with the iOS share sheet (Files, Mail, AirDrop, another app…). We do not receive them.
Third parties and children
There are no ads and no third-party SDKs. Apple may collect its own App Store statistics according to your settings and its policy. Because the app collects no data, it collects no data from children either.

Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date. If a future version of the app ever collected data, we would say so in the App Store first.
